The inspiration that I have received from my grandmother and mother has driven me immensely, but it was through my work experience that furthered my aspiration to become a Clinical Nurse Leader. My time spent working and volunteering at the Greater Baltimore Medical Center, has taught me the importance of selflessness. Everyday I did my job to the very best of my capabilities, which meant coming in early and staying late. I expressed compassion and empathy to anyone that walked-in or called-in to the clinic. I found great joy in knowing that I was part of a team that aided in the well being others. I later, went on to further my experience as a facility manager in an assisted living facility.
