Personal Narrative: My Volunteer At The University Of Connecticut University

Throughout my four years at the University of Connecticut I participated in a variety of different one-time service projects known as Community Service Days. For my first year at the university, I was a member of the Community Service Learning Community. As a participant, I was asked to complete thirty hours of community service each semester, a goal that I exceeded each time. To illustrate the types of volunteerism I participated in I have included only several of the many activities I participated in throughout my college career. Once, I volunteered to usher special needs swimmers along with their unified partners to and from the pool during a Special Olympics swim meet.
