Last I visit Hotel Congress. I had never stop by and visit Hotel Congress inside before, even though I always pass by every day to go to college. The Hotel Congress was built in 1919 where tap rooms opens, and where it use to provide rooms to legendary bank robber John Dillinger, who was a famous American gangster. As a person who has lived in Tucson all my life, I can know be more construable and no longer fell embarrassed of myself, knowing where Hotel Congress, Tucson Convention Center, Pancho villa, and Kiosko are located. This places have help me feel identify with my Mexican American culture and Tucson. I feel I belong more in Tucson like never before. Almost everywhere I go I can see the roots of where I come. Also I can admit doing this exploratory research has made me feel like I was discovering a new city, I supplely already known. I believed in today’s world it extremely important to know where things are especially if you live in a certain place for years where you don’t have an idea where things are. I recommend this exploratory research trip because it provides you with knowledge, and at the same time you’re getting to know your city, before you start knowing other cities. Also you might not notice at first but this project has plenty to provide you with. For example, being familiar with your soundings. You will be amazed of how many people that have been working for years close to Pancho Villa and still not knowing the

Whenever someone travels to a new location they may not realize how much history truly lies before them. Some students including myself would actually enjoy learning about the place they visit by taking a city tour and actually seeing all these sights instead of reading about it from a textbook in a boring classroom. For example, when I went on a family vacation a couple of years ago I learned more information about the beautiful city of Puerto Vallarta than I would have ever learned in a classroom. The information that I obtained from the trip varied from how the city was built all those years ago to how much the people of the city truly do respect…

My trip to the Barnes Foundation museum was enjoyable and informative. On my trip, as we moved through the galleria I was astounded by how the rooms in the galleria were arranged. It was not like your average museum, with one or two paintings on the walls with a description of it underneath. Instead, there were rooms with paints all over the walls, along with iron work that correlated with the pieces. Our tour guide elaborated on how he did not wish for there to be a description under the pieces of art stating their background.…

When I visited George Washington my sophomore year of high school, I instantly knew that your school is where I wanted to go for college. It just wasn't like any of the other colleges that I had seen before, and for that matter it was unlike any I have seen since. I saw that GW is in a beautiful location and that its presence in the capitol greatly enhances both its value and the city’s around it. I really liked walking around the campus, as it was extremely vibrant. I saw that safety is also important, and the combination of security that holds jurisdiction in this area is extremely reassuring.…

In New York City, there are many attractions, and historical landmarks to visit. One landmark that I would genuinely love to visit would be Camegie Hall. As someone who is very involved in music, I have always dreamed of visiting there. Carnegie Hall is one of the most prestigious music venues in America. My high school choir was invited to sing there under Dr. Johnson, who is the choral director at the University of Kentucky, but unfortunately, getting Harlan County School Board approval was out of the question at the time due to their meeting date for the month and lack of interest in our music program.…

He set down my plate exposing my eyes to three buttermilk pancakes perfectly placed together with a layer of fresh strawberries and a tower of fluffy whipped cream in the middle, sprinkled on top were small bits of nuts and powdered sugar. All I needed now was syrup but what syrup would I choose if there all sounded so good; From Original to Guava to Coconut to Honey Macadamia Nut to Honey Christmas Berry or Honey Rainbow Blossom. My older sister, a cousin, and I had decided we would be taking a summer trip to Honolulu, Hawaii.…

If I had the opportunity to go shopping with an unlimited amount of money to spend, I would want to go to Minnesota. In Minnesota they have the Mall of America, but they also have other malls that I could shop at. I would want to travel with my mom and my sister in law, Kelsey. Even though I would have unlimited money, that is not what this trip should be all about. I should focus on the good times that I have with my family.…

Studying abroad this summer will also allow me to learn about the Spanish cultures and traditions first-hand.
