We arrived when the sun was beaming down on the early morning of October 2nd.I was amazed at the number of Egrets and various other wetland creatures we came upon arriving. We visited the park mainly to expand our knowledge on the ecosystem of the Barnegat Bay area and with time to spare we shot some photos of the beautiful environment before our eyes. Upon arriving at Cattus Island we did about a mile walk to the Barnegat Bay. During the mile walk we went through the wetlands where we saw many Egrets in their natural habitat. When we finally came to the Barnegat Bay we put our waders on and where we wanted to get down with the wild life.
