Personal Narrative: My Vision Of America

We live in a place where you have to pay almost $2 for school lunch but prisoners get it for free. We live in a place where a certain color gets blamed for everything. We live in a place where it is so hard to accept one another. My vision for America is to one day be able to realize what is right from wrong and maybe, just maybe, accept others. First of all, everyone relies on stereotypes. Just because African Americans get into trouble with the law doesn’t mean that they all like to do that. Just because a lot of white people go to Starbucks does not mean that each and every one of them enjoy their drinks. Just because a lot of girls wear the same type of clothing does not mean that all of them have to in order for them to be considered “white”. America needs to learn that not every single person is the same as the other , but their actions could be the same. …show more content…
The first thing someone usually does when they see a person is judge them. They say the first thing a person notices about you is your smile. If you take a minute to think about that, no matter what it is still judging the person. Walking around school there are people who get teased and bullied because of what they are wearing. Why can’t one day we all just not worry about what they are wearing and just take into consideration about their personality.
Next, in my opinion, all the United States relies on is violence. Someone isn’t putting their hands behind their back so lets pepper spray them. Another country is doing something that we do not like so why not send the military to them and show them how we do things in America. Your significant other said something that made you upset so why not beat them? Sometimes words do speak louder than actions. Sometimes it is okay to shout as loud as you can to try to get something across to one
