Personal Narrative: My Vision Of America

Al Capone once said, “This American system of ours, call it Americanism, call it capitalism, call it what you will, gives each and every one of us a great opportunity if we only seize it with both hands and make the most of it.” This is what makes America great and is the vision I have for America. My vision of America is one where anyone that works hard and does their best can achieve success. America is a land of opportunity and freedom where men and women of our military have fought and are still fighting so that my generation can have opportunities. America is a place where people are free to be who they want. If only everyone tried a little harder to make this country a better place we would be in great hands. That is the vision I have for America. We are strong and our rights as citizens keep us strong. America is the greatest country in the world to live in and in the vision I have for the future we will remain successful, and proud of our past and present. …show more content…
It is not an everyday process when you hear someone say they are happy they chose the job they have today. Some people will pick a job and have to do that career all throughout their lives. They do not have to change their minds and go to another major or career. We have the opportunities now where if we are not happy with our job or want a different major we can change our jobs. We all have dreams and we all want to succeed, but sitting around will not get us very far. We have to be dedicated to our jobs and want to be successful to get the job done. This is an example of My Vision For America because there are hard working men and women out there that want to make the world a better
