Personal Narrative: My Vision For America

Revised Draft - Bahni Baukhagen Martin Luther King, Jr. had a dream, and look where that got him; I have a vision, think of all the places I could go. America today has been built up from every individual before us, some contributing more than others. Some, however, decide not to partake in the betterment of our country, encouraging our country to become hopeless and sordid. My vision for America is giant, bigger than you can imagine; and much larger than I can convey in an essay, but I will try my best. I have a vision, and like an architect creates their blueprints, I am going to paint you a picture. So prepare yourselves, because we, as a whole, are going to come together in unity to create the country we deserve.
To demonstrate, there are roughly 158.6 million women in America (1), whereas America abounds with men of power. My mother, a single matron in her 30’s, struggled for years to support her children, constantly imploring the government, voracious for help. Why did she struggle? However, I am confident that my vision for America will enhance your future, as well as mine. The future of America depends on not only men, but women as well. We need to include women in the, ultimately rudimentary, process of improvement towards our country. Moreover, immigrants or not, all humans living in America will be treated fairly, and with respect. Nor will we let the youths of America have a future that depends on the success of the generations before them. In order to solve a problem, you must first perceive it; and you must, secondly, take action. We, as a nation, need to stand up and allow our voices to be heard. Brick by brick, hand by helping hand, one day America will provide a home for every individual in need. That is a vision I am proud to
