Personal Narrative: My Virtual Field Trip

Decent Essays
For my virtual field trip, I chose to visit the Jerusalem great synagogue, as a Christian I have learnt a lot about Jerusalem as a special city also as the birth place of Jesus Christ, and I have always believed Jerusalem to be a holy place and a land of sacredness it is also believed to be the city of hope and belonging. The main reason why I chose this worship site is to explore more about important places attached to the Jews. Obviously this online site represents Judaism as a religion, it is one of those important and vital place in the lives of many Jews as a whole.
It was a very interesting experience exploring this site, I learnt so many facts about this worship site despite exploring it virtually I did not only learn facts about this

Because of those teachers, I learned how to study the Bible and the importance of practicing what I preach. The classroom cultivated an excitement to learn the truth and minister it to others. Upon graduation from Multnomah University, my parents rewarded me with a trip to Israel.…

The architecture in Poland is centuries old compared to the modern buildings of today's world. As our group of pilgrims walked through Krakow, we marveled at the beautiful structures around us. Apartments and storefronts looked like ancient structures lined up along the streets.…

As a child growing up in Rhode Island, the smallest state in the Union, the idea of a vast planet brimming with civilization and culture was more like something out of a fairy tale than it was reality. So, when my father announced that we would be leaving the country to go to Scotland, the home of his and my ancestors, my world began to expand at a rapid pace. This trip could not have been timed more perfectly. The summer of 2007 marked the end of fourth grade, my first year at Saint Mary Academy Bay View.…

I chose to visit a Christian church because I was raised in an atheist household with no prior knowledge of any religious faiths. My lack of knowledge on religion was what actually inspired me to take this class and after a few lessons I realized that in order to understand other religions, I should have a firm understanding of Christianity. The Christian church where I did my site visit was actually a Non-Denominational church which I believe was perfect for my first experience in religion because it was already very accepting and open-minded. A Non-Denominational church is one that is able to make their own decisions rather than having to defer to a church organization and for the specific church I went to the only directive was that the…
