Personal Narrative: My Vacation To Florida

During our vacation to Florida, we did many new things in just five days. On the first day, we ran a half marathon in the hills of Kentucky. Then after we ran, we drove straight from Kentucky to Florida to go to Disneyland. Then after Disney, we went to the beach for a couple of days. On the first day of the vacation, we drove to Kentucky and checked into a hotel. The next morning we ran the Hatfield-McCoy half marathon. The race had a huge mountain at mile six that was incredibly steep that we had to run up. After we ran up it there was an awesome view that would be missed if you were in a car a little farther down the mountain. Even though the rest of the race was downhill it was harder than running up it. On the way down there was a biker that was screaming “On your left!” After we ran the race, we drove right to Disney. At Disney, we spent a day at the Magic Kingdom. It was extremely hot and most of the time spent was outside. Most of the time while we were there we took my sister to see the princesses. In between the princesses we got to eat really …show more content…
On the first day at the beach, we went on a boat ride to go snorkeling. While we were snorkeling we found big shells on the beach. When we were under the water we found hermit crabs on the ocean floor. On the next day, we spent the day at the beach at a five-star resort. We spent the time swimming in the ocean with huge waves that seemed to push people down. At the beach, we all got really bad sunburns. My favorite part was when I was on the boat ride I got to feed Cheetos to seagulls from the front of the boat. Because of our vacation to Florida, I was able to see things I never have before. Because of those sights, it was one of the best vacations yet. My favorite part was in Disney when we got to try food from the many different countries. Another reason it was so great was the accomplishment of doing the fourth hardest half marathon in

The best activity was snorkeling partly because it was funny. We decided to snorkel for the first time, we all drank salt water at some point, and were scared of the seaweed getting us. When we got further out, I noticed something I did not expect to see. Little black spiked balls were on the seafloor, and I was just confused. It didn’t take long for all the nature documentaries I had previously watched to kick in.…

A vacation is a place to go, away from home, to relax with friends and family. I enjoy going on vacations because you can leave your busy schedule, from school or work, at home, and live a little. My favorite vacation that I have ever been on was to Panama City, Florida. In the summer of 2015, my friends and I planned a trip to Panama City to experience the beach, and to unwind. From riding in style, to engaging in entertaining things while there, to our fascinating ride back home, I must say, it was a memorable week with some amazing friends.…
