Improved Essays
For a school trip, I had the opportunity to visit the University of Redlands. As I walked around the campus, I was struck by how beautiful the campus was. The further I walked, the more welcomed and at home I felt. The atmosphere of this university is both amiable and welcoming. Within the first few minutes I was able to meet my, hopefully, future mascot and played with him for a for as long as I could.

The classrooms were tiny in comparison to the ones that I am used to and I believe that to be perfect for me. I enjoy participating in class discussions and having a small class often enables me to discuss with my peers and teachers. At my current

As the tour was finishing, I found out that I could double major at this school and still graduate on time. Personally, this means I can do more with my time and maximize my learning. I was also shown the range of variety of clubs and sports at this school, which obviously intrigues me because I already participate in clubs and in school events as much as I can. At your school, I can continue to be an active member of your community and give back. Clubs motivate me to interact with others allow me to grow as an individual. In addition to all of your school’s offerings, University of Redlands is close to home; therefore, I do not feel as though I have to entirely leave my home and still be able to grow independant. I know that I can become a part of something bigger than myself with your help. In conclusion, I am not only applying to the University of Redlands because it feels right, but because I know that I can succeed at this school by participating in clubs and obtaining a higher education. The numerous activities offered by your school will benefit me in the long run. I aspire to attend the University of Redlands and become a part of something bigger than myself. Knowing that I can participate in many roles at this school, while maintaining high grades and representing this school. This school has many commodoties which I look for, a beautiful campus with a close community, clubs and opportunities that will allow me to succeed with a higher

Now, as a student I work in Admissions as a Southern Ambassador. While giving tours, I have noticed what a small and great community Florida Southern is; current students wave at us on a tour showing how friendly our campus is, professors smile at us showing their excitement in seeing potential new students. Whether you are involved in greek life or you are a member of other organizations and clubs, you can always leave your mark on campus.…

I m originally from Secaucus New Jersey, I have moved to Houston during my senior year of college. I didn’t know any university during that time because I was still new to Texas. But as time passed by, people would always gave high remarks and praised Sam Houston State University in Kingwood High School. As graduation grew closer and closer; I decided that I will apply to SHSU but sadly I became very ill and required to get my colon removed due to having over 100 cancerous polyps. Because my mind was already so set on this plan, it felt as though my options at this event were fairly limited. I saw no point in visiting the booths belonging to schools that were not on my “to-do list”. However, boredom and curiosity drew me to consider possibilities I had previously neglected—and now, though I have become more uncertain of what exactly will be the plot for the next decade or so, I can safely say that the future looks much brighter than it had before. In keeping with the decisions I had already made, I immediately looked for LSU’s and Northshore’s…

Living in a small town my whole life, I don't know if I am ready to change my lifestyle by attending a college in a huge city or somewhere extravagant; therefore, I believe that it would be a phenomenal opportunity and experience to go to Alma. The entire area is tremendous and heartwarming, and it reminds me so much of home that I believe it would help with any homesickness I would get while attending there. Another reason why I would appreciate the opportunity to go to Alma is that I would love to continue playing football there. Football is a love and a passion of mine, and I would love to have the…

On a sweltering summer day in the City of Atlanta or the “ATL” as it is affectionately known today, I visited my best friend while he visited his father for the summer. That day I remember vividly because as soon as we stepped outside of the airport to take the “MARTA” train, I began to sweat profusely. Anyone that has been to Atlanta during the summer knows it is incredibly humid there. A week earlier I had seen my friend, and we planned out what we were going to do that week I visited. I knew I wanted to visit Spellman College, Morehouse College, Clark Atlanta University, and Morris Brown College, but before I could visit the Atlanta University Center or the “AUC” as it is called to the locals, I felt compelled to visit the grave site of one of the most influential human being to walk this earth.…
