Personal Narrative: My Trip To The Qdoba Restaurant In Broad Ripple

Decent Essays
Last Saturday, I went with a couple of friends to the Qdoba restaurant in Broad Ripple. It was pretty late when we got there, and I could tell that the staff was very uninterested. We went through the line and ordered our food. I ordered two chicken quesadilla with pico de gallo, guacamole, and sour cream because I had a coupon for buy one get one. The worker was a tall woman who appeared to be pregnant. She had a look of annoyance on her face the entire time that we were ordering. I had to repeat myself several times to correct her from adding or forgetting various toppings for my quesadilla. As we progressed through the line and to other workers, they all appeared to be just as annoyed although much more competent. After paying

One experience that shaped my character as a person was my part-time job in high school. I worked as tour guide in San Francisco’s Chinatown. Being a tour guide pushes a person to be open minded and curious about other people. I remember having a tour group from New York City, and we had a great conversation when we were comparing our respective Chinatowns. The conversation had me continuously think of questions and reply to their question with an answer to the best of my ability.…

Each time she had done that to myself and other coworkers, we would resent her and was irritable the entire shift. Sara should have followed the “best communication” that was brought up in lecture which is the “high say-high do” (Trapido, 2016) method. By communicating with her employees on the reason she could not bring in the groceries or check inventory herself, we would have been more understanding and could have reacted more positively to doing her…

I am an attendant at Chick-fil-a, I don’t think I have any specific title because I am pretty much doing everything, whether it is working with the cash registers or working in the kitchen. My first position though I was working in the kitchen, however after considering it was a high pace restaurant, the first two weeks in the back I felt like it was too much pressure. So I asked to work in the front area of the restaurant, and it was so much less pressure and it became easier to adapt to the environment of Chick-fil-a. After a few months of working at the restaurant I ended up having appendicitis and a bacterial infection, so I was out for a couple months. After having that experience and learned that it was God that saved my life, and reflecting…

I would visit Applebee’s again for several reasons; it is affordable, causal, and the food is really good. As a college student, the first thing that I consider before eating out is how affordable the place is. Compared to Olive Garden, I would say that this restaurant is a lot less formal, less costly, and a lower food quality. Overall, my experience was fun and enjoying because I felt relaxed sitting, laughing, and eating with my friends. When come back next time, I may try a dessert.…

We have all experienced our fair share of pleasant and unpleasant shopping experiences. Most of these memories from these experiences fade over time. However, some of these experiences are so phenomenal or extraordinary they have a lasting impression on us.
