Personal Narrative: My Trip To The Dominican Republic

When I was ten years my mom and my siblings live in Grand Rapids Michigan. My mom was born in the Dominican republic and come to America to raise her kids. She always talk about how life was there and what sacrifices she did to be here. Her mom was the one that made her go and find a better life for her and her kids to be here. I always wanted to see how it was like for myself and visit my other half of my family that’s so far away.

Inciting Action
My mom was always close with me. for we would always talk about stuff and I would ask her how was DR all the time. Today I ask her how’s was DR and she said how bout you tell me in 2 weeks and she pull out my passport papers. We were all going to Dominican republic and I was very excited to see my family in DR and that missing school! First stop Detroit, florida, and finally Dominican republic.

We went to the mall before we left to do a little shopping on stuff we didn't have! My mom bought towels, bath shorts, sandals, clothes, and etc. I bought with me my video games and we were gone the ride to detroit took forever and the airport was almost packed with people. We finally took our to Flight to Florida and Dominican republic.
Climax
My uncle was there to pick us up from the airport and take us to the house. When I got there my grandma was in the kitchen and came out and give me big a hug. We sat down and talk about how my mom was when she was young. I ask to make this cake that my mom always talk about and she agree to make it! It was a lemon cake with coconut flakes on top.

Falling Action My trip was great we went to the beach and eat everywhere. I meet all my cousins, uncles,aunts, and the rest family. I made lots of friends when I join the baseball there. Fredo was the first person to show me around and introduces me to everyone. The trip was over and we saying our goodbyes to everyone I love my new friends and the Family I
