Personal Narrative: My Trip To The Columbus Zoo And Aquarium

Improved Essays
Last summer, about late July, my mother and I decided to go to the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium. Nevertheless, the clarion sky was light cerulean blue, as though someone had painted over the cumulus clouds of the antecedent day. May I recall that this is July? The month typically teeming with sweltering and feverish days marked on my calendar.

The Midwest is home to states with rich cultural backgrounds and popular tourist attractions. To take a break from the busy schedule I have as a student, and to avoid writing more essays like this, I went on a vacation to Michigan with my mother and two siblings. We visited South Haven, a pleasant port city on Lake Michigan’s east coast, and Detroit, the famous largest city in Michigan. These areas interest me because there’s plenty to do; there are amazing restaurants, breath-taking scenery, and family-friendly, inexpensive entertainment. South Haven is famed for its relaxed atmosphere and homely feel.…

It was a warm summer day, and we were enjoying one of the first days of our summer vacation. We turned into the big black parking lot, crowded with cars. The sun was shining and the water was calm. There were a few cotton ball clouds in the sky and it was a perfect day. We pulled our fishing poles off the back of the back of our bikes and set them up with bait and hooks.…

When I was four, I became a world-renowned veterinarian. Confidently, I strolled out of my house wearing my ID card and lab coat into the crisp and brightly lit night air. It was Halloween, and I was ready to conquer the neighborhood. From smelling the salty waters by the Florida Keys, seeing all of the green from the stems of green beans growing, the flavor of the freshest eggs you could get from the coop in the backyard, to the avocado tree growing in the backyard, my trip to Florida had become one of the greatest life experiences I’ve had yet. Visiting Florida taught me many skills on being independent, mentally, and how easy and fun it is just to be to yourself sometimes. It all started Christmas eve when I got home to find my presents from “Santa” there before we even went to bed. My parents had planned on taking a vacation to Florida for Christmas break to see my grandparents, but we were unable to also get my parents there.…
