Personal Narrative: My Trip To Quebec Peewee Hockey Tournament

Improved Essays
Once in a Lifetime Opportunity First, we got on the bus to Quebec City, Quebec to go to the Quebec Peewee Hockey Tournament. It was a struggle for me because I had a broken leg at the time. Even though I had a broken leg, I was still so excited to travel to this historic town to watch the game I love. It was a long bus drive to the city, so during the drive I occupied my time with reading, sleeping, and watching movies for the most part. I was having a lot of fun on the bus with my hockey team. “Hey Coach, how far is the next stop, I said. It’s about 45 minutes away,” Coach responded. When we arrived at the rest stop it was about 4:oo in the afternoon. The rest stop was not very crowded so everyone on our team got something to eat from Tim Hortons. We all sat down and talked about sports teams that don’t end with the letter s. There is actually only 4 …show more content…
We are going to find a taxi right now, mom responded. The next night we had a NHL tournament on PS4. I lost in the first round because I am not very good at PS4 games. That was a lot of fun! The next night we had our big game. It was against Detroit Belle Tire who were ranked number 1 in the United States. The game was so nerve racking to watch. The game was close in the first period but then the other team got 3 quick goals to go ahead. We ended up losing 5-1. We were all disappointed after the game because we had lost and were knocked out of the tournament. But our team knew they did there best so it was easy to overcome. But while we were here we were aloud to schedule games with other teams. Pens elites has had a tradition against the Cole Harbor Wings for 10 years. In this game the winning team gets a mini Stanley cup. We won the game easily. After this we went to a store called Pro Hockey Life which was a giant store that just sold hockey equipment. While we're were there I got some cool hockey

I’ve been playing the incredible sport of Ice Hockey for over 10 years now. Although it has become steadily easier, and more about sharpening skills than developing them, in the beginning it was extremely difficult. The progress I have made since when I first began playing is immeasurable. I have come as far as I have in hockey through all the years of support from my father, because he’s always been happy to watch me play competitively.…

I was terrified. I would try my hardest to get a good spot on the team by copying what the other girls did. But then I found out that I needed to do the things my coach said and forget what the other girls were doing and focus on what I was doing in my own way and that i needed to pay attention of how I was playing and concentrate on how all the girls passed the puck and that I needed to start being more confident of I play. Hockey has taught me that anything is possible and that I just need to make goals to accomplish them. At first when I started out playing hockey, I had a goal that I learn to do a crossover in two weeks.…

After a long taxing day of school in the frigid month of January, I got into a car with my teammate and headed off to a varsity hockey game against Bridgewater Raynham. As soon as I open up the transparent glass doors, I can feel the brisk air brush upon my face. Instantly, the fond memory of my first rink experience poped up in my head when my cousin got an assist for his Norwood Mustangs varsity hockey team. I was young, only around six or seven years old. I remember him having a clear shot, but passing the puck to his linemate for the sure goal.…
