Personal Narrative: My Trip To Panama City Beach

This last summer, in 2016, was amazing. Around the beginning, I was getting prepared for the best summer ever. I was looking forward to everything me and my friends would get to do. Toward the middle of summer, my mom made plans for us to travel to the beach and we decided to go to Panama City Beach. I called my friend and told her to pack her clothes, because this is a vacation to remember. When we arrived at the beach, it was around noon that day, and it felt so good out that day. The wind was blowing and the breeze felt amazing. We ran up to our condo, ran inside and unpacked immediately. After we finished unpacking, we through our swimsuits on and flew down to the beach. The crystal clear water, people running around, and cool summer air felt wonderful. The second day down there, we decided to go Parasailing. It was terrifying seeing all those sharks and jellyfish, because they dipped you into the water. It was fun looking over the city and seeing all the places. That night, we wanted to go to The Hangout, which is a very popular place where people go to hangout, eat, drink, and dance all night. We stayed there all night long and didn’t get to go back to the condo until early that next morning. …show more content…
This time, our destination was Disneyworld. When we arrived at the park, it was time to enjoy every single ride. People everywhere, having fun on the roller coasters, felt scared, excited, and nervous to ride some rides, that I knew was going to be a challenge. We decided to just go for it and pick one so we did, and almost threw up multiple times. It’s time for a break, and Mom decided to meet some characters from Disney. Olaf, Maleficent, and Cinderella meet kids all the time so we ran up to them and got great pictures of all of us. After Disney, we had a Softball World Series-USFA B Class Tournament. We didn’t win all of our games, and had to leave and go home. It was still fun and we had one more vacation to

It was a hot summer, sunny day in Florida usually like most others but today was special. I was going deep-sea fishing for the very first time, my mom told me to put on a lot of sunscreens, so I don’t get sunburn. My family and I got dressed and got into the car and made our way for Pompano Beach pier, where the charter boat would be leaving from. We all packed into the boat like a can of sardens, the captain started the engine and we looked over at the glistening deep blue ocean, the seas where calm, when we arrived at the fishing spot the mates gave us fishing poles and told us to drop the baits in the water, a few seconds later the rod is bent over and the line is screeching like crazy, my parents and the captain start yelling at me to reel…

The aroma of the ocean, as well as fried food and sunblock encapsulated my sense of smell as I passed by the House of Blues on my left, and the beach across the street and past the parking lot on my right. This was my all time favorite place to be. York Beach, Maine. I was visiting for a week in the summer with my friend and her family as our last summer hoorah before having to go back to school. We spent our days on the beach, gallivanting around downtown, buying tickets at Yorks Wild Kingdom to ride the ferris wheel, and ending our day by going to Fun-O-Rama to play arcade games.…

From smelling the salty waters by the Florida Keys, seeing all of the green from the stems of green beans growing, the flavor of the freshest eggs you could get from the coop in the backyard, to the avocado tree growing in the backyard, my trip to Florida had become one of the greatest life experiences I’ve had yet. Visiting Florida taught me many skills on being independent, mentally, and how easy and fun it is just to be to yourself sometimes. It all started Christmas eve when I got home to find my presents from “Santa” there before we even went to bed. My parents had planned on taking a vacation to Florida for Christmas break to see my grandparents, but we were unable to also get my parents there.…

Christmas in Georgia Everyone has a favorite childhood memory that shines vivid in their mind, mine is not an extravagant foreign vacation or skydiving from a plane at 30,000 feet It is simply a family trip to Atlanta, Georgia. Family has always been something my mother tried to make an important part of my upbringing, but to me it was nothing more than a word with an unknown meaning. In her attempts to draw us closer together, my mother planned a trip for us to drive 10 hours across states to stay at her older brother’s home in Atlanta.…

Abi Molen Positive Psych 291 Self Improvement Plan Reflection When making myself the self-improvement plan, there were two areas in my life that I wanted to focus on: religion and myself. I chose that I wanted to improve on being more religious because I noticed that within the past year or so, I have been distant with my Catholic. For example, I have not been attending Sunday Mass as much as I want to and I do not even pray as much as I used to. A lot of these acts are due to me thinking “I just don’t have time” and I always make an excuse to myself; this just leads me into feeling so guilty.…
