Personal Narrative: My Trip To Mojos

Mojos As I went to Mojos I choose to sit outside on the deck for a little while. The deck had three black, steel tables on it with four chairs at each table— which probably was not a smart idea to sit on since it was absolutely hot outside. When I sat down the uttermost elegant flowers caught my eyes . The flowers were vivid and vibrant, making them stand out from everything outdoors. I lingered outside for only about ten more minutes before sweat dribbled down my face, making me feel uneasy. When I got up to walk inside I could hear the trees whisper to each other as the breeze passed by, making me want to stay , however it was time to go in. The first thing to greet me as I opened the door was a rush of cold air escaping the building, …show more content…
The booth had a dark brown table that included crumbs scattered all over it. The seat was even worse, it was more uncomfortable than watching a match of soccer— soccer is my least favorite sport. At least the light above me was dimmed down and not burning my eyes. Even though I was a little agonized by my seat, I still felt very relaxed and at home— which was nice because usually I feel strange and awkward in new places. The only item that bothered me was the ceiling, it was dull and lifeless. It was composed of square white tiles that did not fit in with anything else on the inside. The only element that made up for the humdrum ceiling was some of the unique lights. The lights that were hanging down certainly generated a more authentic style since it was different. One pair right next to me looked like Chinese lanterns and another set was suspended from different heights, looking like a staircase. In the back on the upper level I saw Christmas lights dangling from the ceiling, unfortunately they were not …show more content…
It took about ten minutes for them to make my smoothie and I certainly was hoping it was worth the wait. When I got my smoothie it looked like a pink Icee and caused me to need it even more, since Icees were my favorite. My first drink was very cold and it crackled as it went down my throat. The way it rushed against my mouth made me addicted to it, but I couldn't hog it down or I would get an unpleasant brain freeze. I could tell there was more banana than strawberry and I was okay with that since it still tasted refreshing and

Smoothie Separation Lab Report 1) Our final smoothie product was not separated. We accomplished this by the addition of the Milk Juice smoothie stabilizer at around 3/4 of a teaspoon. We added that to about 2/3 of a cup of water that we were heating up on the stove and stirred until the stabilizer dissolved. Once it dissolved we removed the pot from the stove and put into the freezer to cool. While the water mixture was cooling, we made a simple syrup.…

I was over ecstatic when Fernando, (also known as Fernie) my best guy friend asked me to go on a walking adventure with him in our hometown of Kelseyville, California. We started off the day by walking in the forest alongside of Kelsey Creek. This forest has a really big meaning to Fernie and I, because we both love nature in every aspect and these walking adventures are not uncommon to us. Starting on the path we both got lost in our own thoughts, I got distracted by looking above me at the the canopy the tree branches created. My eyes followed the patterns the sunlight was creating as it broke through the leaves and cascaded onto the uneven forest floor.…

Opening the once lonely door, there was a hallway that seemed to have just rejoiced with a once depriven necessity. Her presence would’ve even made an angry person hopeful. Withered by time, the plethora of thin liable cracks scattered across the olive-dyed floors and indigo walls with an antique circular pattern ; this house was old enough to live in a pangea . However, there was a skeptical sense of suspicion of this person.…

I took a step. Beams of light blinded my eyes as the dense foliage above me turned into ochre as they descended from the autumnal boughs of the sycamore tree. The trees aligned themselves in front of me and began to undress themselves as their leaves pirouetted gracefully towards the ground. The gentle wind fanned my skin as it rushed to hug my legs, acting like a magnet to the hairs of my face. The dewy smell of yesterday’s rain embraced the grass; the leaves kissed the soles of my feet as a warm welcome into the untouched Garden of Eden crafted by the benevolent hands of God.…
