This summer my family and I went to my cousin’s wedding in Iowa. After the wedding we started our trip from Iowa to South Dakota. We were going to see Mount Rushmore and The Crazy Horse Monument. On our way there we tried to go into as many states as we could so on the way there and back we went through South Dakota, Wyoming, Montana, North Dakota, Minnesota, and from Minnesota we went to Wisconsin.

In South Dakota we went to Sioux Falls and saw all of the waterfalls there. Then we went to a waterpark. After we got done at the waterpark we went to a store called wall drug and it is extremely popular in South Dakota. After stopping at wall drug we drove through Badlands National Park. Then we saw Mount Rushmore and my mom told all of us kids that we could get one souvenir and that is when I decided to start a snow globe collection. Summary of Evans Lake Day 1 On the bus ride to Evans Lake was very fun because I was sitting beside one of my best friends Casey. On the bus ride we had lots of snacks including cookies, chips and a little bit of candy, we watched the Minions movie, and we played card games. When we arrived, we played a game called knuckle ball, what was very unique about playing it at Evans Lake was they had a arena built for it, the game was very fun. After we were done with that we went rock climbing, the rock climbing was made from real rocks, that was something I had never seen before, but it was extra fun.…

I’ve lived my entire life in Indiana, as have my parents. My mom and dad were raised close to Monroe and went to Adams Central, where they met and fell in love. They ended up moving north to Fort Wayne where they had my sister and I. We began our schooling in FWCS, but we moved farther north to the tiny town of Huntertown later, which led to my sister and I switching to NACS for my high schooling and her middle and high schooling. Due to all of the events that have happened here in Indiana throughout my life, and due to most of my immediate family living in the area, I have a desire to continue living and working here.…

Famous actor, Nicolas Cage once said,” The biggest problem for me was feeling that as I became more balanced and a better man that I wouldn't have the fire to create from.” I like quote because it describes the type of man that I want to be. As a result of my life growing up, I have learned that I need to be who I am, who I should be friends with, and getting ready for the future. I was born and raised in a small town called Clovis, which is in New Mexico, it was fun to get to see a few things and get to meet the rest of my family. Even though I did not stay there for too long, moving to different places was fun and stuff because my dad is in the military.…

Last minute trips with the girls seem to always be fun, especially going somewhere I have never been before. My cousin Grace wanted to travel to Flathead Lake in Montana. she saw this lake on Instagram. The internet said that supposedly this lake is found to be one of the largest natural freshwater lakes that exists west of the Mississippi river. So my mom, grandma, cousin Grace, Aunt Sarah, and I packed our luggage into the car and left for a vacation with no plans and nowhere booked to stay.…

Go-Kart Catastrophe There I was, flying around the corner, going as fast as the machine I was driving would take me. Up around the corner was a sharp left turn. I thought the wheel would turn more than it did, but it did not and I screeched around the corner going a lot farther to the right than I would’ve wanted. It was so far off course that I missed the turnoff and I was now on a headed straight on a collision course.…

I 'm lucky, crazy lucky. To be living a dream, to have found it so young, for it to be afforded by hard work and minimum wage, to be healthy, and to have hiked so many miles, with such great people, it 's more then anyone deserves. All I can do is soak it up, learn from my blessings, and become better through them. After three months on the trail the daily routine becomes monotonous. It becomes easy to overlook beauty, to put my headphones in, my head down, and walk right by the greatness around me.…

Life is all about making memories and also cherishing those memories. Like the time I found out I was the valedictorian of my high school class, or my college freshman move in day. Road Trip to Remember Summer can either be two and a half months of excessive boredom or extravagant fun. This year my summer was a combination of both. For the first month, my parents and older sister were trying to figure out the best place to visit. In the beginning several weeks I was quite enthusiastic to help plan the trip but as the days dragged on it got quite boring. Every time we would make a reasonable plan some random crisis would arise.…

For instance, there was a carving of Spongebob and Elmo too. It was a pretty cool experience to me, and we also saw a deer. That night, we had went to a steakhouse to eat at for dinner. The morning had come and we were happy for that day because we were going to a local fair they were having.…
