“OW!”, I shouted in a tearful pain. My little sister had jumped on the couch and it landed on my wrist and crushed it. I ran to my room in agony and laid in my bed. My mom then came in and asked me what was wrong, I told her, “ My arm really hurts, I don’t know what is wrong with it. The next day she then called the doctor's office to try to squeeze me in before my trip to Hawaii. Unfortunately, they couldn’t squeeze me in and since we were on a schedule we had to call Reedley and see if they had open spots. Luckily, they had an open spot for later that day. While I waited at home my arm starting to become numb and I couldn't feel anything on that arm. Around 1:00 p.m, the doctor called my mom and I curiously waited for my mom to get off the phone. When she was done, she told me, “Aaron, you broke your wrist.” I was shocked about what I heard. I didn’t know what to do because in 2 days we had to leave for our trip to Hawaii. She then started calling clinics that weren’t too far to schedule an appointment to get a cast for me. It took her about 15 minutes to finally get me a spot for the next day early in the morning. Unfortunately, it was in Orange Cove, but that didn’t matter because I wanted to get the cast before the trip. We go there, check in and I get a green cast and then we leave to start packing. Around 2:00 a.m, I wake up and we start getting ready to go to San Francisco and once we get there, we go through security and everything we need to do to board that plane. Once we arrive in Hawaii, I want to go in the water, but then my family and I come across a problem. The problem is, “How are we going to cover my cast well enough to where water won’t get in it?” We then think about using a plastic bag, but that plan doesn’t go well, so we then think about using waterproof duct

Growing up in Hawaii, you're faced with multiple fun opportunities. For my self born in Kamuela of the Big island, being in the center of the island opened up many doors to many different activities. I grew up on a long narrow road that had many bumps and pot holes up and down the entire road. At the top of the road there was a small grade hill that I would bomb with a skateboard. My house was about three quarters the way down the road.…

My Disney Cruise Vacation My most memorial event would have to be when I went on the Disney Cruise Line for a vacation with my family. There were so many fun activities to do while on the cruise. My favorite place to go would be going to the “Edge” room with some new friends. When I came the first day in the game room I did not have any friends, so the first couple of days it was fun, but also boring at some points since I did not know anyone at the time. The other place I enjoyed going to is called the “Vibe”.…

Out of all the trips I’ve been on, the Disney Cruise trip was the absolute best. The ship was Halloween themed so there were bright orange pumpkins everywhere, the characters from Disney were even dressed up and they also played spooky Halloween music. My family and I went at the beginning in October of 2016. We stayed at Cocoa Beach for a night, Disney Cruise and then went to Sea World for a day. I have always loved the idea of Hawaii. The culture and the traditions at the beautiful place called Hawaii has always been so fascinating to me. It has always, I mean always been the only place that I want my sixteenth birthday to be at because my Grandma Brenda went when she was 30 years old. And one of her last words before she lived no more was “ If you want to travel to on of the places I did, choose the most beautiful place I have traveled to in all my years of living, choose Hawaii.” I am too young right now; therefore, I can’t go at this very moment.…

At the vulnerable age of 8, scared of lots of things, I had a huge imagination and over thought things way too much. The year of 2012 I went on a vacation which I thought would be one of the scariest things of my life turned out to be one of the most fun things I have ever done. I’ve never flown over the ocean before so with my imagination I thought of many outrageous things that could go wrong. We had two flights, one from Chicago to Atlanta and another from Atlanta to Nassau. Our first flight didn’t go to well, I was sick at the time so my head was congested which made the popping in my ears unbearable.…
