Growing up in Hawaii, you're faced with multiple fun opportunities. For my self born in Kamuela of the Big island, being in the center of the island opened up many doors to many different activities. I grew up on a long narrow road that had many bumps and pot holes up and down the entire road. At the top of the road there was a small grade hill that I would bomb with a skateboard. My house was about three quarters the way down the road.…

I still couldn’t believe it had been ten whole years since I had moved from this place, but I just couldn’t get the memories out of my head. I could still feel the classic Norvelt wind blowing across my face calling me out to come and realize that this is where I belong. Well, I guess it was correct because even, after all, I and my family moved to Florida things just didn’t seem to want to go right. As I walked through the neighborhood I could still see everything as it was ten years ago, even though this Norvelt was so new and different in many ways.…

Nothing would make me happier than becoming an orthopedic surgeon operating out of a Hawaiian hospital working on shark attack victims and other unlucky victims who need orthopedic repair, then go straight to the beach to surf and relax for the remainder of the day.…
