Personal Narrative: My Trip To Fabrian's Italian Bistro

Improved Essays
Hi, Pat,
The weather has been so gray and wet but Saturday when we went to Carmichael it was beautiful and sunny and continues to be nice. So our trip was dry and fun. We went to Fabrian’s Italian Bistro for dinner prior to the show. Remember Fabian? Chris, his son named his restaurant after his father. It’s really good. Steve and Jo go there a lot. Chris and Steve and Jo’s son went to school together. Then we went to see Fame which was very energetic with one song that was hilarious and made the show enjoyable. When we returned to Steve & Jo’s home another family (relatives) from Chico arrived to stay one night before continuing on the next day to games in which their children were participating. It was fun to see them because they didn’t make it to Thanksgiving. The next day another cousin, Kathy and husband Dean the Vet, from Fair Oaks came over and we alll had lunch. It was a busy and fun weekend.

Do you prefer reading books to your kindle, or whatever e-reader you have? Perhaps the books you want to read aren’t offered, like all the technical books Rossi reads. Do you have a Barns & Noble there…..oh, you can always go to Seattle book stores.

Yep, we’re excited about the upcoming inauguration. We hope he is able to do all the good things for America that he hopes to do. We’ll just have to wait and see. Just hang in there….I don’t want you to be sad, at least there is something new on the news everyday.
I loved reading the article on Debbie and Carrie, we weren’t able to see the HBO documentary. It’s still hard to believe but found the scientific explanation interesting. They’ll be missed.

Just checked on some pine cones that we’re picking up for Connie and Rob. They use them in their fireplace, I guess to get the fire started. We have plenty of them so it was kinda fun to think that someone could use them for a purpose. Do you have a fireplace in your new home? If so, is it gas or

My journey at Chick-fil-A began the of fall of last year, soon after I turned sixteen. I wanted to work at Fairfield Coffee as a barista, but due to my age, I could not even receive an application. Jobs at Starbucks or Dunkin Donuts seemed to be my next best option; but, Starbucks’ supervisor and I were in a serious game of phone tag and Dunkin Donuts never responded to any of my calls.…

It was hot and it got exhausting. The sun was glaring down at us and we had to keep directing traffic in the hot sun and at that time I was really regretting going to the show. It felt like I was just standing there pointing in one direction, walking back and forth in the hot sun. I remembered we were doing this for the community which was important to the Blue Angels because they needed help with the traffic because there was a lot of people coming so I thought it was an important contribution. They finally brought us some water and food which was great because we were all thirsty and hungry from standing in the heat almost all…

I am an attendant at Chick-fil-a, I don’t think I have any specific title because I am pretty much doing everything, whether it is working with the cash registers or working in the kitchen. My first position though I was working in the kitchen, however after considering it was a high pace restaurant, the first two weeks in the back I felt like it was too much pressure. So I asked to work in the front area of the restaurant, and it was so much less pressure and it became easier to adapt to the environment of Chick-fil-a. After a few months of working at the restaurant I ended up having appendicitis and a bacterial infection, so I was out for a couple months. After having that experience and learned that it was God that saved my life, and reflecting…

I would visit Applebee’s again for several reasons; it is affordable, causal, and the food is really good. As a college student, the first thing that I consider before eating out is how affordable the place is. Compared to Olive Garden, I would say that this restaurant is a lot less formal, less costly, and a lower food quality. Overall, my experience was fun and enjoying because I felt relaxed sitting, laughing, and eating with my friends. When come back next time, I may try a dessert.…

Barbecue sauce mixed with morning dew smeared across the endless rows of white tables was the first sight that greeted the volunteers of the Burlington Ribfest. It was the first image that my best friend and I could not help, but commit to memory. Eager as we both were to get volunteer hours, I signed us up for multiple shifts as part of the ECO recycling team, totaling up to 12 hours. Little did I know, this adventure would change me in a way only direct experience could.…

Today is a sad day in United States history as our new President is sworn in. This is very unsettling to me that we will have a President that has openly ridiculed disabled people, disrespected our men and women in the armed forces, empowered racism, and a man that is unable to endure any criticisms. Sadly, he is a President that is so gullible, a man that has disrespected women, insulted our current President and someone that changes their opinion in a blink of an eye. A President that has no self-control and throws twitter tantrums daily. A man that once said “I’ve said if Ivanka weren’t my daughter, perhaps I’d be dating her.”…

Coffee is more than a beverage to me: it’s a lifestyle, and it’s a way of making life more pleasurable. I consider myself a coffee addict, in fact it’s something I proudly declare on most days; however, it’s often a struggle to find a good cup in the endless sea of overpriced, corporate coffee houses. There are some days when the burnt beans of Starbucks simply cannot cut it when it comes to my caffeine fix. London is a place where there’s not a shortage of anything, much less coffee shops. If you’re lucky enough to be in London, one of the best things you could do would be to spend a day, or better yet a weekend, wandering from coffee shop to coffee shop simply enjoying the atmosphere of the vibrant city and it’s lively shops.…
