As the day came for us to leave we had to make a three hour bus ride to Atlanta and then a 3 and a half hour flight to San Jose. Once all the security checks and password stops were done we made our way onto the plane and on to Costa Rica. The next days to follow we visited seven schools and churches and met many smiling faces. However, we did not know Spanish and they didn't know English but this didn't stop the love I received from each child. In addition to teaching a class we also played soccer with them and found out quickly they were soccer prodigies in the making.
