I sometimes forget how important family is, but i'm glad to know they will always be there. I have many great memories with my family, but the trip to California tops them all. I will always remember the way they helped me overcome my fears and support me. During Spring break Sarah planned a fun trip to California. Lucy, Sarah, Lissa, Korah, Kalvin, my brother, mom and me all went. We did a lot of fun things like seaworld, sailing, and staying on a beach but my favorite part was DIsney. It was our second day there and we were going on California Screamin. Peering up at the roller coaster made my stomach swirl with nerves. “You can do it,” Sarah and Lissa both assured me. “Ok,” i replied, and we began to make our way up. Since we were staying at the Disney Resort Hotel we had the magic hour were only hotel guests get an hour of the park to themselves. Because of the magic hour we made our way up to California Screamin with no line. Every step i took i got more and more nerves. The roller coaster in front of us rolled away and our shiny orange coaster rolled up. We stepped in and the harnesses came down. No leaving now i thought to myself. …show more content…
Lissa and Korah were behind us. We rolled down the track to the starting spot. “Ready?” Sarah asked. “Not really,” i replied. The cart stopped. “It's fun! You'll like it when we start going,” At that instant the countdown started. The voice yelled “3… 2…” I griped the bumpy harness. “1…” we shot forward like a bullet my it startled me because i didn't think it was going to be that fast. I closed my eyes cause the wind made them sting. We went over the first bump but once i went down i got used to it and opened my eyes. All i could see was a blur of people and rides. I watched the track wind in front of us and felt the cart
