I hope everything is well. I'm so excited when I heard the news that you're coming here in California for a month vacation. Surely, you and your family will enjoy your stay here. Make sure to visit San Francisco. There are lots of things to see and exciting things to do in SF. I would suggest that if you want to get a better view of the Golden Gate Bridge, go to Marin Headlands. You will fall in love with the beauty of the scenic view from the top. In addition, visit the Palace of Fine Arts. You will be astonished by the beauty of its classical structures and lovely lagoon. Moreover, if you want to get a little bit of excitement, check out the famous Lombard Street. The steep and turns of the street will surely dazzle you. I love to go there

My years in high school were quite thrilling and adventurous. Starting as a freshman, I had no idea where I was going and what was going to be expected of me. Over the years I became involved with extracurricular activities which led to my primary interest I had developed in technology and the sciences. As a freshman I joined the Students with Future Interests in Technology Club, Spanish Club, and Robotics Club. These clubs stayed with me till I graduated high school and I have loved them ever since I got involved in them.…

    1. I grew up in San Francisco in an area where the majority of residents had lives there for generations. In my building all of my neighbors were older than my parents and a few were even older than my grandparents. Mrs. Garcia was a woman who lived in the apartment under us. Before high school, I always thought I was an average student, but when I transitioned into high school, people started to point out that I had potential. I began to work harder than I had ever before and I began to accelerate in every course. This never took a toll on me till the tenth grade, when my mental health started degrading. Anxiety was my first foe. During the beginning of the tenth grade, I had set high expectations for myself and it began to affect my life greatly For instance, after finishing the test, I would think about just one specific question that I thought I completed wrong.…

The semester before my freshman year I applied to an early college high school; I knew that I was going to have more work than if I had went to the traditional high school, but I knew I could do it. At first I was doing well, but as time went on the work became more challenging and frequent eventually my grades fell and took my pride with it. I wanted to transfer to the traditional high school in my neighborhood, but changed my mind after a talk with one of my professors. She helped me to recognize that if I quit not only would I be throwing away the work that I did do, but I’d also be preventing myself from seeing what work I could do. I took that seed of information and turned it into a tree of motivation.…

Growing up in Southern California we spent most of our summers at Lake Havasu and Parker. For as long as I can remember, getting to spend my summers on the lake with my close friends and family was what got me through the school year, knowing that for a full month I would have no cares in the world except for what adventures lay ahead of us. As the school year came to an end, all we could think about was getting to the lake to start our last summer together before we all ventured off in separate directions. Starting to pack and load up the RV was all I could think about for days, seeing as this was the last summer we would all spend together.…

High school changes people. They express themselves, become opinionated, and they start to look at the world differently as they experience things they have never encountered before. A wise Oliver Wendell Holmes said, “Man’s mind stretched to a new idea never goes back to its original dimensions.” This quote is an excellent way to describe my experience in high school.…

All I could hear was a mix of footsteps and rapid car sounds. Busy people, busy streets, that’s when I knew I was in New York City. I still perfectly recall my first trip to the United States. As cliché as it sounds, I was convinced that America was the right place for me to be, and where I wanted to pursue my studies. Furthermore, I was determined and strong-willed to live the American Dream.…
