Personal Narrative: My Trip To Boston

The day started out exceptionally. It was around 4:30 AM and the sun was just piercing through the veil of the horizon. I jumped out of bed, dressed in a long sleeve and a pair of old faded jeans and proceeded to brush my teeth as well as a long hot shower. Afterwards, as a precaution, I had breakfast because I didn’t know where we going to eat on the way to Boston. Rushing to get there already I grabbed my sling bag with my pillow, snacks and money and made my way to school where adventure was surely waiting for me.

When I finally made it to school after a ten minute walk the word that instantly came to mind was “chaotic”, the atmosphere was buzzing as my peers and I milled around the multipurpose room. We were all ready to have an exuberant fun time, however we all knew that there was knowledge to be learned about the

The trip back was fun for the first two as we all talked about the mesmerizing experiences we had at Boston. However the other two were spent sleeping soundly on the bus. We drove until 9:00 PM when we finally came back to the school. This concluded my astounding visit to Boston.

There were many things that I appreciated and loved during my trip to Boston. Being able to experience these sites first hand was a great experience. For example, at Quincy Market the food there was very unique and you wouldn’t be able to eat that anywhere else. Also being able to see the Boston Massacre site was truly humbling because that event changed the course of America as we knew it.
However, there were some things that I didn’t really as much as I would have liked too. For instance, when we went to Quincy Market we got a very short amount of time to truly take it all in if you catch my drift. Also the tour guide itself while it was very informative on some subjects it wasn’t really on others. Other than that this trip has been a very memorable

I’ve always stayed in contact with Zoe ever since she moved, and I missed all the times we had hanged out together. Spring break, year 2018 my mother had let me get on a plane to go visit Zoe to Washington State. It showed me that there was much much more to see and to explore in the world, even if it seems like it’s all the same. Sure, you can say that a beach is a beach or every place has that, but a beach in California isn’t going to be the same as a beach in Florida or a beach in Brazil. It may not have white sand and sapphire waters, but the beach in Charleston will always be my first beach. The storms I experienced in Charleston will always be the origin point of my interest in bizarre weather. Charleston certainly isn’t New York or Los Angeles by any means of comparison, but it’s a place that gave me something more to see than the standard Midwest visuals I’m accustomed…

Going to Cincinnati, Ohio was a great experience, because we got to see how people act and socialize. The three main reasons that we went to cincinnati was to go to Kings Island, my basketball tournament, and the Cincinnati Reds baseball game. Kings Island was probably my favorite part about the trip, because you had tons of things to do including, ride roller coasters, eat, and play mini games. The amusement park had about six main roller coasters including the vortex, the diamondback, and Etc.…

I had never been to New York before this trip. It was a truly amazing experience in which I learned so much about art, culture, and history. I got to experience places that I have been waiting my whole life to see. Upon reflecting on the study-at-large as a whole, I think the most educational experiences I had were at the Museum of Modern Art, the United Nations, and the 9/11 Memorial & Museum. I was so excited to visit the Museum of Modern Art.…

Today started off as a good day because Meadow licked my face to wake me up. Lukas and I made breakfast together and let me tell you we got food everywhere. We where making French toast with eggs, I happened to trip over Meadow (who had no reason to be in the kitchen) and I hit the flour when I tried to grab the counter. Ever thing went down like dominos, starting with the flour, then the bread, and even Lukas. When he tried to help me up he slipped over some flour and went crashing to the floor alongside me.…

It was a definite change of scenery to be immersed in nature with lush greenery, crisp air, and ocean views instead of the normal classroom scene. I liked that this experience was a chance to interact with my colleagues and learn who they are on a personal level subsequent to grading their three-minute stories the previous Fridays. From this hiking experience, I learned the value of teamwork, effective communication, and what encompasses wholesome leadership as well as what can transpire when there is no leadership. As like all experiences, there are some parts I cherished and others not as much.…

I enjoyed many experiences on our study tour to Salzburg and Vienna, but my favorite experiences were the guided visit of the Mozart House in the Vienna City Center, the tour and concert of the Mozarteum and Mozart’s opera “La Clemenza di Tito”. I really loved the guided visit of the third Mozart house we went to, the one in Vienna. Not only did it have some really interesting Mozart stuff, but I also loved the exhibition on “Rock Me Amadeus” in the basement of the house. I loved the tour guide, he did not drag out his talks about Mozart’s life and made the tour around our questions. The customized tour made the tour at this house more interesting than the visits at the other Mozart houses.…
