life still went on and day-by-day I got donations from everywhere. Berlin High School which was my previous School help out the most, everyone at my school pitched in with money food gift cards and clothes for my family and I. I live in Hartford but I went to Berlin High School by the crec program and I enjoyed every moment that I spent at Berlin High School. Berlin High School offered me a lot of opportunities. Like Hospital house which is a club that I dedicated most of my time to as well as cheer, helped me out a lot to. Hospital house, allowed me to volunteer at New Britain hospital and worked with young children. Day by day I got really depressed for at least 4 months. I gave up on life. I had to buy new clothes and new bed and I even had to move my sister to Middletown. My whole life change, I didn't enjoy Christmas like I used to or even my birthday. I was changing, I was slacking in school and not doing nothing useful in my life. then reality hit me hard. my guys counselor had a long talk with me and that helped tremendously with everything. she told me don't let the fire hold you back from who you really are. from that day on I growed up and took care of my priorities. I dress with regular clothes instead of sweats
