Personal Narrative: My Trip To Bell Canyon

The time I almost drowned into a deep, cold river, for an icicle that I wanted. I’m Sixteen I was the second tallest I am in the middle for skin color. My group and I decide that we are done playing games and we want to do something, but a few of didn’t have money so it had to be very cheap. Austin was the oldest out of the five he had more muscle mass and brown hair. Austin decided we should go hiking. Benton was Austin’s cousin and my friend he was the shortest of us five and he was the youngest. He was very funny he could make us laugh, but it would be towards him. Benton said he wanted to go hiking, but he would have had to be picked up. His brother wanted to go with us. Austin knew his brother, so he was fine with it. His name was Byron …show more content…
Byron choose on going to Bell Canyon because he went there days ago with some of his friends. When we got there to Benton’s house Quinn told us he was hungry. Quinn is a year older than me, he has more muscular strength, but he is way shorter than me.
We then ate some of Benton’s and Byron’s food. They had a lot of food: chips, quesadillas, nachos, and soup with Gatorade. We ate their food then we played their family console which was the Ps4. Ten minutes later that's when Austin decided on going hiking at Bell Canyon Trail.

We left to go hiking. Benton brought along his blue raspberry Gatorade, then Quinn whined about not having water bottles to take with him hiking. Austin gave into his whining so he bought a 24-pack of Ream’s waters. When we were at the register Austin decided he wanted to take some gum and beef jerky on the hike, he did so. We got to base of the mountain Austin parking on the trail so he choose to park on the road. Most of us brought along was athletic clothes shorts with a t-shirt. Except Byron he brought a jacket and soccer pants. Quinn and I got cold pretty quick from the wind. Austin scolded Quinn and me then gave us some extra hoodies for us to use. From the

We had to go through the side of the condo so we could get to the back where the entrance of the trail is. The beginning of the trail was steep and dusty. Quinn found out at that moment it was a very bad idea to where jesus sandals to go hiking. He had traction like crocs on ice. Quinn isn’t a whiner he either likes to give people a hard time but made fun or just messing around. He was asking us if he could switch shoes. That was when we started laughing and making fun of him. He started getting tired and trailing behinds us but not to far from us. Half a mile up is a lake. The hike was 5 miles in total up and down. Before we got to the lake was a pile of big boulders. We hid behind them for Quinn to go by. We waited for him to search for us and when he was about to give up, we made sounds for him to try hearing us. He then found us. We loved making our own fun. We hung out at the lake for awhile trying to find fish. The lake was surrounded by more of a lighter colored dirt that had hills on the East side the South side was where all the trees were.
