I would think back to all the hours of attaining knowledge, think I just wasted all of it because I didn't work hard enough. My friends could see the disappointment on my face every time we socialized. But, at the same time I couldn't wait for our junior to start so I could get my redemption.
Then the transformation happened, it wasn't a sudden spark in motivation, as it was discipline. Instead of saying I'm going to do it, I just did it. Not looking for praise, looking for redemption. As a result of this I ended up making the legion All Star team that summer, and had a 4.4 GPA my junior year. I also made the Varsity baseball team this year, and started in every game except for one.
In conclusion, me transitioning from childhood to adulthood, was a short difficult process, where I was forced to open my eyes about my future, and get to work to make it somewhere in life. Lastly, I had to focus on certain things in my life to help me redeem
