Personal Narrative: My Trampoline

Decent Essays
The first time I jumped on a trampoline was at my friend Evan’s house. It was on of the most fun things I had ever done. At the time I couldn’t do much, all I could do was a butt bomb. Which all it was is that I jumped landed on my butt then bounced back onto my feet. Soon enough my uncle Mark bought my sister and I a trampoline for ourselves. I jumped on it almost every day. I still do, over time I had learned how to do a frontflip and I was pretty good at it.
As I kept practicing new things I could do a misty which was a 180 frontflip. I loved doing this to it is one of my favorite things to this day. I kept practicing and practicing but I honestly couldn’t learn any new tricks. Then winter came and we had to put the trampoline away. Over

Then, we took a couple of laps around the neighborhood with my dog, Lincoln and we had a couple of wrecks along the way. While riding around we stopped for a bit to climb trees and to play tag for a bit. All of us ended up getting sick of playing on the hoverboards and we played football for a bit without hoverboards. And we also jumped on my trampoline.…

So it all started when my best friend from my old school asked me if I wanted to go with him to this big trampoline place in St. Louis called Sky zone with his family. First we went there and we had a certain time to be there so we all went out to eat to Steak n Shake. Then we all ate and ready to go. We had to take off our shoes and socks and put on special orange grip on the bottom socks. The place was pretty big.…

For over ten years my average day consisted of four main activities: school, homework, gymnastics, and sleep. While school breaks or holidays may have upset three of the four, competitive gymnastics was always a constant. Three hours a day five days a week with no off season left no room for apathy. During my years as a gymnast, I learned the lessons I am sure every athlete is taught— dedication, time management, and determination. However, gymnastics taught me two lessons that other athletes fail to learn thoroughly.…

Hi Ms. Pierce, Hope you had a wonderful break and a nice day, The word I would use to describe my break is deciphering because I got a break from dance and school. For example, I was able to sleep to try to avenge the early wakings during school days and early dance practices. In addition to that, I had nothing to be concerned about. Having a break from both school and dance gave me time to think about myself and what I wanted for my future; besides, I was able to unwind. The time I had was crucial to me because sometimes in the middle of all the activities in the year I have no time to think.…

Have you ever been pushed to the point where you felt like you couldn’t go any further, like your body and mind would fall apart if pushed harder? In gymnastics, you are pushed to your mental and physical breaking point. When it comes time to compete, you have to make sure you know your routine and how to make it win the perfect 10. I, as a newly-budding 5th grader, knew this decently well, and my first gymnastics meet was definitely one for the memories. Flipped Out Gymnastics, located in Howell, was where I trained and competed as a level 5 gymnast.…
