I am one who has experienced the pain and disappointment that can be caused by failure. I have experienced failure several times in my life so far. My times of failure were stressful times for me. Although, these times of failure may seem to be dreadful at the time, but my times of failure are actually the key to my success. The first time that I experienced failure was during my freshman year of wrestling, when I came across a senior from Carmel High School by the name of Karl Wilhelm. I first meet Karl Wilhelm at the 2013 Hamilton County Wrestling Tournament. Karl and I were both in the 106lb weight class and we were both seeded. Karl was seeded number one in the tournament, due to him being the returning champ at that weight class, where as I, who was seeded second was not. Karl and I meet each other in the championship round, where I lost to Karl by a devastating 8-0 lost by a major decision. The second time where I experienced failure was when my wrestling team had a dual meet against Carmel, Westfield v. Carmel, where I came face to face with the senior Karl Wilhelm again. The dual meet was neck to neck all night long. Win …show more content…

It has followed me everywhere in life ever since. It has even followed me into the classroom, where I strived to perform my very best in getting a high quality education. This skill has allowed me to study twice as hard for the next test if I got a B on the last one or take high quality notes or even stay after for help. All in all though having an archrival who has caused me to fail multiple times has taught me how to succeed in

So naturally I was destined to follow in their footsteps and that I did. My two older brothers are now in college and the heifers that they purchased through the calf scramble program have helped them to establish a nice source of income while they are in college, plus I get to reap the benefits of the quality cattle that they purchased because those mommas are raising some show quality babies that I am getting the opportunity to show. Leading up to my scramble night in Houston my brothers offered advice on securing my catch, thankfully track practice had started in school…

I remember the first time I failed at something it changed my state of mind from high to low, filled me with anxiety and turned my world into chaos. What had such a powerful impact on my life is loved all over the United States, it is known as “America’s pass time,” the great sport of baseball. I originally decided to join baseball to make my family proud, no one else in my family played sports anymore due to harsh injuries. Failure has always been a huge aspect in my life recurring in everything I indulge myself in; whether it be academically, athletically, or even Boy Scouts. I tend to have a knack for challenging myself till I am unable to complete the task given to me, whilst this could be good in some ways it also puts me in some not favorable situations. More recently I had the thought of completing a bike race , after receiving medical attention for a concussion and a broken collarbone. This was not necessarily the smartest decision on my part, especially since the race was longer than I have ever raced before and also a three day event.…

Everyone has a different perspective and interpretation about failure. Some people see failure as an unpleasant thing or a limitation of their capabilities, while others see failure as a learning opportunity or a guide on how to become better. He points out that failure is necessary if we want to succeed in college and in life.…
