The best, most positive supervisor experience I had was the first job after graduating with my BSW. I was an AmeriCorps member at a family resource center that served a small community. It provided support to families, teens, and children. My supervisor had started the program many years earlier and was well liked in the community. She provided the best feedback on groups I was running and also asked for my feedback on things she was doing. This person recognized that she didn't know everything and that she may be too close to the project to fairly analyse. It made me feel valued also and I didn't need to question the education I just spent a lot of money on. The best part of that relationship was that when I left two years later, I felt that
