First I would like to start with the drive from Arizona to Wyoming. This drive is like no other, the views from cactus to pine trees are breath taking. The town that I stay in is Greybull, when you enter this town it looks like a scene from an old western movie. The streets are empty with wooden sidewalks and there are only two stop signs. The weather plays a very large part in this memory as the air is crisp and clear with a smell of freshness.…

When I was five years old, my mother decided that we should move in with her boyfriend. I did not know him; in fact, I remember not knowing anything about him at all. We moved into a house in a nice neighborhood, but living with my stepfather was exceedingly difficult at first because I was only used to having my mother to myself. Before moving in with him, my mother had raised me in a Hispanic community; now moving to El Paso, I had to get used to a very Americanized neighborhood. I struggled to get used to my new life in El Paso.…

Growing up in Southern California we spent most of our summers at Lake Havasu and Parker. For as long as I can remember, getting to spend my summers on the lake with my close friends and family was what got me through the school year, knowing that for a full month I would have no cares in the world except for what adventures lay ahead of us. As the school year came to an end, all we could think about was getting to the lake to start our last summer together before we all ventured off in separate directions. Starting to pack and load up the RV was all I could think about for days, seeing as this was the last summer we would all spend together.…

Arizona I smelting hot in the summer month but in the winter months it is a nice 60 degrees with lots of wind I prefer Arizona in the winter because it is not as hot and you can go outside without getting a heat stroke or dehydration. It;'s nice here because you don’t have to deal with snow or things like tons of rain. I grow up in Dubuque Iowa and I did like it there but I wanted a place were there was no snow, rain, and heat but with humidity and moist air in Arizona its dry heat which I like better. I have all my family in Dubuque so its hard to stay in touch but Arizona is such a cool place with new places to see and explore.…
