Yesterday, I had to come home at seven from a late band rehearsal, take a shower, and finish a multitude of class assignments. By the time I was done, it was eleven o’clock. I could barely fit in time for a good night’s rest, so attempting to watch videos on Youtube for a little while was out of the question. The list of things I have to do in a day is so extensive that even eating dinner has to be delayed until later if I want to be done with my duties before a certain time. A couple of days ago my friend asked me to come outside to play basketball at noon. By the time I was done with everything I needed to do, however, I could already see the street lights turning on. There are only so many hours in the day. Practicing saxophone, doing school work, making sure I have enough sleep to function— things that significantly reduces my time. It gets pretty troubling to my mental health when I can’t take an hour or two out of my week to just lay back and
