Personal Narrative: My Strengths Of Reading And Writing

4 When I’m reading, I have a hard time to pronounce the word correctly. Sometime I found words that I never heard and I don’t know the meaning and definition of words. In writing, I struggle with organizing the sentence and grammar. These are my weakness in reading and writing.

5 The strengths I have when it comes to reading and writing is I never give up. If I saw a book in free time I will read it. It doesn’t matter what kind of book it is. When I am reading, I use google to find out meaning of words which are difficult for me. I do free writing most of time because I’m not good in grammar.

6 Yes, I do like to read. I used to read a newspaper a lot. It helps me to improve a reading skill. Reading news helped me to learn a lot of vocabulary

I don’t have any history of writing in my life, I love writing. In my opinion writing help to express my feeling. Writing make a writer and it also bring happiness in life. I wrote an essay about my life in refugee camp back to Nepal that brought my memories back. Writing helped to keep our old memories fresh.

8 Currently I’m doing work study in college as a chapman hall student ambassador. I love my work because I get opportunities to help student like myself. I get a chance to work with amazing staff member and faculty member around the campus.
9 I think people study composition because it helps them to be more creative. Composition helps reader to analyze the articles. Composition writer provide lots of evidence to the reader and make more interesting.

10 I’m refugee from Bhutan, a small country between China and India. My parents were forced to leave Bhutan because of language and cultural differences. We went Nepal as a refugee and lived there for eighteen year in small refugee camp. I completed my high school there. I never used computer in high school because we don’t have electricity. And lived there for eighteen years without electricity. In 2011, we came to this country. And start my school after five years later.
