Improved Essays
1. What are your strengths as a writer?
My strengths as a writer include my innovative side. When I obtain opinions from individuals about my work they are quick to mention that I am very creative. With my creative energy, I have no issue creating a story. Storylines and portrayal are my strengths.
2. What do you feel you still could improve on as a writer?
I certainly need to enhance my sentence structure. I generally have a troublesome time with language use. My imaginative side is extremely solid and I wish I could get to be distinctly more grounded in my language structure, yet regardless of to what extent I study or attempt to apply them I get to be confused. This has been a battle for me since elementary school. I won't give up on this

A weakness that I have is that I do not know how to say no to individuals that ask me for help since I love to help people. It is important that I learn to say no when helping others gets in the way of me accomplishing my tasks. It is important that I do both, but not when I run the risk of not meeting my deadlines and me staying late hours after work to get my work done. It has not been an easy task saying no, but I am learning to be okay with saying no because it is important that it does not interfere with my responsibilities.…

Whether we know it or not in this modern society we are writers everyday of our lives. These interactions shape not only how we communicate but how we write as well. Personally, I have been shaped by the influence of both other writers I have known and those I have only read the creations of. Those same influences contributed to both my writing style in the classroom and to my identity as a writer. I spent a lot of my childhood with my nose deep in fiction novels at near by libraries.…

Describe Yourself As A Writer I’ve come to realize that after years of writing papers, I’m actually a better writer than I give myself credit for. I’ve noticed over time that I’ve advanced in how I structure my paragraphs, however, not so much with my sentences. It’s like making a cake look delicious at first glance with frosting and decorations, but then you take a bite and there 's way too much sugar or it 's overcooked in the inside. My strength in writing includes: using better words to describe what I’m writing about, spelling complex words, creativity, and passion.…
