My Sophomore year of high school was just okay. It was probably the most boring year out of my 4 years here at Euclid. It was like I was in the middle but not really close to the end either. I had some difficulty in some classes like Geometry and Spanish II. I’ve never really been too great at math but Geometry really messed me up, I could never really get a grasp of what we were doing in class so I would always end up failing the test or I would get too frustrated with the homework and just quit. In Spanish II, I was just so confused all the time because Spanish isn’t the easiest language to comprehend and I would end up not doing good on classwork and test and would try and Google translate everything. I went to majority of the athletic games and just small things like home days,pep rallies and bonfires.I thought it was important to show school spirit and be there for my peers. I always had fun at each event I went to and would cheer on the panthers.This was also the year my best friend since first grade started to attend Euclid. She went to Lake Catholic in Mentor,Ohio for her freshman year then transferred. I was so excited to be back in school with her so we could meet and talk in the halls and help each other with work. I showed her around on her first day and made sure she didn’t get lost in the school just like how I got lost my first day there. As the year continued the try-outs for dance team was posted and we both went and tried out, we didn’t make it but at least we tried together and had
