Personal Narrative: My Snow Day

I got inside my blanket, warm in my new pajamas, I look through the weather report that is predicting a foot of snow. My mom comes in and tells me, “you will still have school tomorrow, the news anchor is never right, go to sleep!” As I snuggle into my blanket I turn to turn off the lights, my eyes suddenly notice white fluff falling outside the window, It was snowing! I get up and look out the window and watch until a decent amount of snow is present. My hopes of a incoming snow day were rising as I went to my parents bedroom and told them, “I can’t sleep”. My mother holds my hand and walks me back to bed, at this point it was about 10 at night. I start feeling sleepy with dreams of a fun snow day ahead.
