Personal Narrative: My Snow Day

“NO SCHOOL!” my brother shouted. I was finishing my geometry homework when all of a sudden BPS called saying there was going to be a snow day. I did my happy dance because we finally got one after more than a few days of frosty snowfall. I threw my homework to the ground, took a nice hot shower, and went to my room, so I could watch Netflix. I didn’t sleep until 3:00 am because I was watching Glee, but then remembered that my friends and I agreed on hanging out if there was a snow day. I wanted some rest, so I tried going to bed, but actually ended up falling asleep at 5:00 am. I forgot to remove the alarm on my phone, so I woke up 55 minutes later with a terrible migraine. I fell back asleep again and actually got woken up by my irritating brother saying he was going to the movies. …show more content…
“Not again.” In case you didn’t know my brother has a habit of waking me up really early in the morning just so he can annoy me. Well, I never ended up falling back asleep so I decided to get ready. The plan for the day was to go to my friend's house around 12, bake some cookies, decorate them, and go downtown. It was 11:00 when I actually started getting ready because I spent the whole morning being lazy and watching some more Glee. My mom came home with the groceries when I asked her if I could go hang out with my friends.
“Did you clean your room? You have to have your room clean in order for you to hang out with your friends!” I panicked. I did not have my room clean, nor was I close to finishing it.
I sped to my room, stuffed everything in bags, and threw some clothes under my bed. It took me 45 minutes to finish cleaning, so I was on a tight
