“NO SCHOOL!” my brother shouted. I was finishing my geometry homework when all of a sudden BPS called saying there was going to be a snow day. I did my happy dance because we finally got one after more than a few days of frosty snowfall. I threw my homework to the ground, took a nice hot shower, and went to my room, so I could watch Netflix. I didn’t sleep until 3:00 am because I was watching Glee, but then remembered that my friends and I agreed on hanging out if there was a snow day. I wanted some rest, so I tried going to bed, but actually ended up falling asleep at 5:00 am. I forgot to remove the alarm on my phone, so I woke up 55 minutes later with a terrible migraine. I fell back asleep again and actually got woken up by my irritating brother saying he was going to the movies.

“Not again.” In case you didn’t know my brother has a habit of waking me up really early in the morning just so he can annoy me. Well, I never ended up falling back asleep so I decided to get ready. The plan for the day was to go to my friend's house around 12, bake some cookies, decorate them, and go downtown. It was 11:00 when I actually started getting ready because I spent the whole morning being lazy and watching some more Glee. My mom came home with the groceries when I asked her if I could go hang out with my friends.
“Did you clean your room? You have to have your room clean in order for you to hang out with your friends!” I panicked. I did not have my room clean, nor was I close to finishing it.
