Personal Narrative: My Snow Day

“There is nothing to fear but fear itself.” said T.R. I believed that up to this day. Deep within my chest I feel my heart start racing. The panic sets into my mind that I was going to get killed.then be robbed. The mask covered his ragged face from the value of others. The peace of the medal was sticking to his trigger finger . The doorbell rings and everything froze in time. One cold, snowy winter day I was enjoying my snow day off from school. the cup of peppermint tea I had just brewed in the kettle let of an ear piercing whistle in the air around it. I was talking to myself about how to make the perfect cup of tea. “First you pour the hot water from your kettle into your choice of cup.” I took a hot sip of peppermint tea and I could feel the tingling of the peppermint dance across my tongue. Then I hear the snow crunching under a foot coming from the snow covered backyard. …show more content…
Then it hit me. Either I was being watched or I was going to get robbed. The stopping sound came around the corner. Swish...swish..swish…The dark figure has a gun in his hand. His ugly face was being covered by the ski mask that he had on. The tag was sticking out of the top of his mask. I started to tremble the cold felt colder the time slowed down. In instanced I jumped behind the couch that was sitting in the living room where I was watching my tv shows that I was enjoying before the figure showed
