One saturday morning my dad and I went out into the barn and started working on my dirtbike. We had to put a new airbox into it. The old airbox had a couple holes in it. So we started taking it apart the first thing that we had to take off was the seat, next was the side plastics, then we could unscrew the air box. We had to spray the new airbox with air filter oil, and then we put it in the dirtbike. Then we put the plastics back on, then the seat.

It all began during the summer of 2015. I had just taken my beat- up fossil of a john- boat off of Gun Lake to fish in a different lake, and were going to put it back on Gun Lake at my grandparent’s house. After rinsing the multitude of worm guts and dirt out of it, we were going to put it back into the lake. My grandparent’s neighbor, Hal, got the chance to come along with me. We vaulted into what we called the “Rhino”, a quad equipped with a driver’s and passenger’s seat.…

Junior Rider: Lauren Kinley is a fantastic rider that I admire for her sportsmanship. In the past year, she has had one horse go lame (at Finals), one get sent to Michigan State, and one pass away. She has had everything go wrong that possibly could go wrong, and she keeps the most level head about it. She never pulls the sympathy card and never allows herself to be seen as a victim.…

Coming Up to the Tee The aroma of freshly cut grass fills my nose as I step up to the tee. I swing my club back slowly, blocking out the millions of thoughts running through my mind. Swiftly, I swing down at the ball propelling it forward, straight towards the fairway. Clubs in tow, I head towards my ball as I begin my round of golf.…

One time my friends and I were riding quads through the woods and as such we were going down a trail we saw a mud pit that we had have trucks and jeeps stuck in. We were all sitting there thinking about trying it even thought we would probably not make it. After a few moment of sitting there we decided to continue trail riding after trail riding for a few hours we went back down that trail and saw the mud pit again. My friend Ricky said he would try it so we got our winches ready and parked on the other side of the mud pit with our quads running and in reverse. He started through the mud pit and realized that it was gonna be deeper than he thought so he pushed his throttle almost as far as it would go and made it right to the edge.…
