I found my second home on the tennis courts. It was a go-to for stress-relief, fun, and competition and the epitome of camaraderie. The sport provided me with a daily routine and stability while navigating the intricacies of high school. Although it required extensive time management between a heavy academic work load and playing a CIF division one sport, my passion allowed me to not only be a teammate, but also excel as a team captain.
