“I’ll be fun c’mon!” I stated “ I don’t know, I don’t like rollercoasters, what if it breaks in the middle of a loop?” he said. I finally convinced him to go with me. We decided to go the next day, it was going to be 80 degrees and it wasn’t bad at all, i mean it’s summer and it's only going to be 80 degrees?! As we arrived i can see him shaking, i bet he had butterflies in his stomach. He was overthinking it, he had us wait in the car for about 10 minutes before he decided to get off. “Are you ready?” i asked “Not really, but let’s go!”

As we entered Six Flags Magic Mountain we can hear the sound of the rides and people screaming. As we walked to see which ride had the shortest line we came across Goliath, i have never been on it and i heard some pretty good things about it. “This one?” he suggested “Ahh sure.” The line was so short it took us about 10 to 20 minutes to get on. I lied to him, i told him that I’ve already been on it and that it wasn’t bad. I didn’t want to get him even more nervous about it and he seemed excited about getting on.

i thought to myself, it was too late though we were already on. He had sweaty palms and he was shaking. “Its high!” he said, “I know!” i said. We can hear the people behind us talking and laughing nervously, there was a boy behind us that was about 8 years old, that kinda calmed my cousin down. You can see all the rides from the park when you’re at the top of Goliath. As we dropped He grabbed my arm and squeezed it hard! He let go of me and enjoyed the ride, he wasn’t scared anymore, he seemed joyful. When we got off the ride he was laughing and he wanted to go on again! I wasn’t scared but i wouldn’t go on again, so instead we walked to another

I remember the gut wrenching feeling in my stomach as my best friend and I approached the tallest and fastest roller coaster at Hershey Park, called SkyRush. I am not sure why I agreed to go on this roller coaster, considering most of the time at amusement parks I entertain myself with food, and miniature rides that stay level to the ground. Unlike me, my friend liked the rush and heart dropping feeling of being at the apex of a roller coaster and then dropping down at maximum speed. Personally, I preferred the ground, where I remained in full control of my own safety. Yet that afternoon I found myself standing in line for SkyRush.…

Well I had gone to Six Flags and when I had got there I was so anxious to get on every ride in Six Flags but then I had heard a person on the Goliath scream ”stop the ride” it was so funny and scary at the same time. Then I saw that almost every ride had so many twists and turns and even circles that go round and round. Last year I had gone on a roller coaster which was the Mind Bender and it wasn’t so scary. The Mind Bender had so many circles that go round and round.…

There was a rush through my body thinking, Wow, that was fun!! We have gone on a lot more rides, by the end of the day. My favorite ride was that there was three different slides that are pitch dark and you get one soft mate and you go up a small set of wooden stairs then you race down the slide and the reason I loved it was because it takes about four seconds to get to the bottom of the slide but it feels like it takes a minute. A lot of the rides were fun some scary, and some adrenaline pumping. Ashley was tired and we had went on the rides we wanted to go on, so we had paid to get are belongings.…

I got anxious as I reached the top, until the worked yelled “pull the cord.” Those three words is all it took to relieve me of everything, all the stress, anxiety and anything else that had bothered me just seemed to go away as I was flying through the sky. Once the ride was over I looked was so glad that I hadn’t chickened out. It was such a great experience that was so much more than just riding a dumb ride at Six Flags. It showed me that whatever goal I set for myself in life, big or small, I would accomplish it.…

Then the third gate was the worst, who could hear people screaming their heads off, and feel the ground shake like there was an earthquake, and it was our turn next!!! I was TERRIFIED, Claire had fingernail marks in her arm, and as our cart emptied of the people before us, I got light headed, I vaguely remember getting in and buckled. I started to take deep breaths I was starting to feel better when I felt how secure the harnesses were. But then we started to move, at first it was okay, slow and easy going around the first corner, but then I saw the unbelievable hill that was 170 ft tall, this ride brakes 7 different records in the world and one is it’s got the longest drop for a wing coaster!!! Slowly climbing to the top, felt longer than the car ride!…

It was the largest, most thrilling roller coaster yet to be found. I didn't believe it but knowing my best friend Prisa she was not gonna let me miss out on as she would always say, “once in a lifetime opportunities”. It was a hot, sunny day as the sun lit up the whole park. The blunt air had no wind or even a soft gentle breeze. It was just plain old humid and to add on to that, we were crowded with a solid 200 people in the line,…

There was no time for a break, we were off to the next one. By “one”, I mean roller coaster, but this wasn’t just any other roller coaster, this was the Dragster. The record breaking, rapid and towering Dragster which was located at the amusement park Cedar Point, in Ohio. I watched my friends walk briskly in front of me anticipating the next thrill. Fearnot-Narrative Fear can ruin your life. Fear is just a mentality. Fear can mean different things to people, it can be the difference between someone not exactly loving spiders, and not hating them and someone having a meltdown every time they see a spider. When you stroll into an amusement park you should notice crowds of people and long lines. You should hear screaming, all the rides and pitchers pitching sales, right? Not in my case. The sun had just risen as we pulled into the empty parking lot with only the sight of the band members unloading from the yellow school bus. It was a very crisp morning so we waited in the warm car until they let us in.…
