The battle when I'm President
On March 11, 2016 in Dubuque, Iowa the voting for president was taking place. Dubuque was the only place that was left to take the votes. Two people were trying to get others to vote for them. Dakota is my couisn. One of them was Dakota and the other one was me. Dakota was trying 19 and I was 13 but we were young enough to run for president of the U.S.A because the age to run for president was dropped to 13 and older. So far Dakota had the most votes. He had 100 votes and I only had 90 votes. But when all 6000 voters and my friends the counter Randal, Geffrey, Jacob, and Adrie were down voting the counter who was my best friend Randal counted the votes and added them to the rest of the our votes. When he told us how many votes we had I came out on top and Dakota was kicked out of office but now that he knows he had lost by 4 votes, he came up with a plan that made sure he would be back in office for good.

We found all kinds of stuff and rooms. I made it to where all my friends could stay with me until my turn as being president is over. The first thing for me to do was to pick a sectary and while I was deciding among my friends, Dakota was trying to give himself some power to over throw me and become president and he did get his superpowers. I finally picked who I wanted to be my sectary and I picked Randal because I knew that he was a great choice with his leadership skills. All the others were sad that I didn't pick them but they agreed that I made the right choice. But little did we know that Dakota was on his way to take

I appreciate your view of President Reagan. However, I disagree that he was one of our greatest presidents. Reagan and his administration had one of the worst environmental records of our modern presidencies. Additionally, during Reagan’s term, the Environmental Protection Agency was lackadaisical in enforcing antipollution laws, and the Department of the Interior was complaisant with profit-making corporations. Hence, the government opened up large areas of federal domain, including offshore oil fields to private development.…

Visions are only unique as the individual themselves who make up this country. America is not the same as it was ten years ago. Who would have thought that we would have cell phones that were similar to a small computer in our pocket, a car that could talk back to us, or that we would have an African American president? Our visions for America could change everyday. My vision for America is very unique for my age group.…

Education and schooling is a gift because with children going through school only a few will become our next inventors and scientists. The education will help make our medical teams and technology better than it has ever been before. I come from a poor family. I never had brand-name shoes or video games, or even a Lisa Frank binder and stickers like my friends at school, but I always had plenty of food in the fridge at home. My family never went hungry in spite of the fact that we were raised by a single mother who made her living as a coffee shop waitress. I did not know, till I was a teenager, that my mom bought the majority of our groceries with food stamps. It never seemed odd to me that she went to the grocery store one time a month and stocked up on milk, sugar, lunchmeat, chicken legs, hamburger meat, and most importantly, coffee.…

Clinton swept through the southern states creating a significant delegate lead over Bernie Sanders. Trump seems invincible now after winning most of the 11 state primaries. I don't know what's happening to America.…

Not everyone can say they carry a map of where they live wherever they go. This is one of the few perks that come with residing in the Mitten State: I can whip out my hand anytime and point to exactly where I’m from. For the past eighteen years, I’ve built a life in Grand Rapids, Michigan, a conservative, affluent community where everything seems perfect. For eighteen years, I’ve covered imperfections, censored thoughts, and allowed my light to be dulled. I may not have lived anywhere else yet, but the real-world is out there waiting -- and I’m ready for it.…

As a child I always thought the United States was a safe and healthy place. I believed the United States was safe because we have so much freedom than any other country. Also, believing it was a safe place and there was freedom, there would not be so much crime in the world. I also believed the United States was a healthy place to live in, because again I thought no other country is like ours and we were always the better one when it came down to everything. My experiences of believing the United States is safe and a healthy place is shattered.…

I, as well as the rest of America, have multiple responsibilities to America. She has given me freedom, rights, and liberties, that citizens elsewhere do not have. I have the freedom to present my opinion, vote for my leaders, and freedom to practice my own religion with protection to do so. These rights, along with many others, were not given to me for free. Many courageous men and women have died in order for me to have these rights.…

Prior to my eighth grade year, I had just been a class representative. As president, I assigned jobs to the other members, but I was not allowed to give myself a task of my own. I thought it was necessary to make the decision that is right for not only me but for the country as well. It was tough to decide if I was the right candidate for the Presidency, I wasn’t even sure if I wanted to run for candidacy after I lost so badly in two-thousand-eight to President Obama.
