Personal Narrative: My Personal Writing Process

My personal writing process consists of three steps that include preparation, rough draft, and a final draft. These three simple but very important steps are the three building blocks to my writing process and if i do these three things it drastically helps improve my writing.

the first step to my writing process would be preparing to write. This step may not be the most important however, there is much significance to it. This essential step may consists of actions including eating, sleeping, or urination. This step is important because trying to write on an empty stomach can be difficult. It also makes it very difficult to write if you are drowsy or tired. For my best writing it is important for me to be fed and well rested. This step has significance because it helps me remember all of the thoughts I had. After I have the ideas on paper I can then plan or organize my thoughts usually into the different paragraphs. I also think of a thesis and write down my main points that I would like to discuss in my paragraphs. After creating a plan i then began to write my rough draft. When doing so I try to not focus on the quality of my work more of the quantity. This step is more focused on just writing with a little thinking. This is important because it allows me to see if I need to add material and gives me a perspective of maybe some material I need to take out. Whatever comes to mind or seems like it could go nicely within my paper I write down. The focus of this step is not to perfect but rather to have a starting point and to have an idea of what i am working with. If this step is completed it insures that my final product can reach its full potential and it leaves room for my writing to improve and be
