Personal Narrative: My Personal Worldview

My personal worldview has shifted a multitude of times over the course of my life, but the largest, most drastic alterations have taken place over the past nine years, from the moment I started to believe in God. One could say that part of my worldview is a belief that a worldview continues to shift as we move through our lives, learning, growing, exploring and asking the deep questions of ourselves and of others. As I reach deeper levels of maturity, authority and capacity in my relationship with Christ, I will also reach deeper levels of understanding about the universe, the world, and its’ occupants. I believe there is one true God who is the creator of all things, including the universe. I am unable to comprehend beyond this, meaning, …show more content…
The Bible also serves as the moral standard and ethics that apply to every human being without exception. The nature of God is agape love which is one that we, as humans will never fully comprehend on this side of heaven. I do not think God feels the same way we feel. We use the word angry because we do not know what other word to use, however, if God is pure love, holy and good, then he cannot also be an emotion that is human. When we say “God is angry” or “God is jealous”, it is because we lack the proper word to describe God’s response to His creation. We belong to Him and we are accountable to Him. When we infringe upon the laws and the grace of the Kingdom, God responses accordingly to uphold those standards. Within this upholding, God is still love. I do not doubt a single word of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He taught the truth of God while he walked the earth as a human, He was crucified for our sins, and He rose from the dead. A short time later, He returned to His father in heaven, and sent us the Holy Spirit to guide us and give us a direct line to God. Jesus is the ultimate healer and redeemer, and the only way to God, to wholeness, deep personal healing, contentment and living a purpose filled life, is through accepting Jesus Christ as His …show more content…
All of these factors contribute to what we perceive as truth and how we interpret our surroundings and other people. Damages can occur within the human mind that will alter the moral compass throughout this period. This includes (but is not limited to) head injuries caused by trauma (physical, mental, emotional, verbal, and chemical abuse) and disease can impact a person’s ability to function, process, or reason in the same way as other people. I do not think this makes them bad or evil at the core of their Godly being, but it can limit their ability to see clearly. It is the dark external influences of the world that corrupts human beings, but there is an internal influence of God at the core of our DNA and God all around us that has the power to reset our moral
