The Bible also serves as the moral standard and ethics that apply to every human being without exception. The nature of God is agape love which is one that we, as humans will never fully comprehend on this side of heaven. I do not think God feels the same way we feel. We use the word angry because we do not know what other word to use, however, if God is pure love, holy and good, then he cannot also be an emotion that is human. When we say “God is angry” or “God is jealous”, it is because we lack the proper word to describe God’s response to His creation. We belong to Him and we are accountable to Him. When we infringe upon the laws and the grace of the Kingdom, God responses accordingly to uphold those standards. Within this upholding, God is still love. I do not doubt a single word of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He taught the truth of God while he walked the earth as a human, He was crucified for our sins, and He rose from the dead. A short time later, He returned to His father in heaven, and sent us the Holy Spirit to guide us and give us a direct line to God. All of these factors contribute to what we perceive as truth and how we interpret our surroundings and other people. Damages can occur within the human mind that will alter the moral compass throughout this period. This includes (but is not limited to) head injuries caused by trauma (physical, mental, emotional, verbal, and chemical abuse) and disease can impact a person’s ability to function, process, or reason in the same way as other people. I do not think this makes them bad or evil at the core of their Godly being, but it can limit their ability to see clearly.
