Personal Narrative: My Personal Strengths In The Workplace

Some of my personal strengths that will benefit me in the workplace are problem solving, communication skills, helping others, patience, writing skills, and organization skills. Problem solving has always came natural to me and if something goes wrong in anything that I do I want to know how I can fix it or change it to work. Something that I have realized that everything is going to go perfectly every time and people need to be able to adjust to different situations and problems. While working on my families farm there is lots to get done every day and while I am working things will go wrong and it is important for me to know what to do, how to fix it, or how to get around this issue that is happening. Communication is a big key in farming and with any job because how else are we are going to absorb information on what we need to get done for the day or information that you need to learn. During my summer job on the farm we use our cellphones and two way radios throughout most of the day just to check up on each other and if there was an issue and one of the workers needed help there was always a way to call the person in charge. Working with patients as a therapist you need to present your information clearly for the patient to understand and know what you are saying and what the message you want them to know. Something that I love doing is helping others and finding ways to improve their lives and I find myself to be very good at it too. Organization is key to any job because this will help produce more efficient work and when you get things accomplished in a timely manner more task can be done in a days time. Working on the farm there is tons of paperwork so during tax season I help my mother help keep track of all the different documents and help organize them by type of
