Personal Narrative: My Perfectionism

I am a perfectionist. Always have been, and I always will be. I color inside the lines. I do my homework. I go work at my job. I go to be early. I am a very by the book person. Everything must be a certain way, otherwise I begin to get anxious. This has always been a blessing and a curse. It is a blessing because I get things done, and I do what is right. It is a curios because if something is not done exactly how I would do I, I feel like it is don't wrong. I always want to know what is going on, why it is happening, and how it is happening. This is also why I am always making decisions for my future. I decided I was going to take PSEO when I was in elementary school. I knew what I wanted, and that was to get a higher education before it was necessary. I wanted to be ahead of the game. I wanted to be ready for college. I was ready to succeed, so I kept this dream until it was finally time. This year was my first year taking PESO classes, and it was one of the scariest experiences I have ever experienced. This was because I was unsure of what was going to come of it, so I was scared of what was to come. The first class I took was an English class. I wasn't able to brainstorm any ideas that truly sparked my curiosity. When it came to writing my draft, I had nothing. Due to the fact that I had very few ideas, I wasn't able to write the correct length for my paper. This then caused me to add in sentences, I knew were not truly important, but more fillers. I only got feedback from one person, and although I did use all their corrections, I didn't quite believe them all. My lack of time led to my lack of revisions. This was my worst work yet, and I was the only one to plan. My professor told us weekly to give ourselves quite a while for revisions. I never believed her, and I usually would end up doing my revisions the night before it was
