Although I have no formal teaching experience, in my past work and involvement in organized sports, I have repeatedly used the Progressive philosophy. When dealing with 13 & 14 year olds many situations arise such as bullying, personality clashes or simply not understanding a drill or play. When introducing something new there is always potential for resistance. When rolling out new policies or procedures, I would do things gradually over a period of time, involving the employees in discussion periods, allowing them the opportunity to ask questions, give feedback and gain a better understanding as to why the process or policy is changing. By taking a gradual practical approach and involving employees in the process, created employee confidence, allowing the changes to take place smoothly and the company to move forward in
