Personal Narrative: My Passion Makes Me Who I Am

Reading your biography and about your passion has really moved me. I believe you are a talented tough girl who doesn’t ever give up. I chose to read about you not only because you are so unique, but the difference between your life and mine. You and I may have a few things in common however our differences distinguish us. Everybody has a different pigment in the color wheel. Of all the people I could’ve met today, you happened to sit behind me in class and whisper “Hello”. Only a few people in my life have reached out to be my friend. Speaking of school, I do find it truly amazing that you started college while you were attending school. That is extremely incredible because not a lot of students can do that, especially me. I’ve only went to school for nine years, so I didn’t quite fit in the smart group of …show more content…
I’m still very astonished that I had the chance to go to college for something I love. Also another one of our differences is that fact that you have lived in Albert Lea, Minnesota for all of your life. I’ve never lived in one place longer than three years. Lastly I admire your passion, bowling. I can’t stress enough on how much I love to bowl, although I’m very awful at it. It’s very interesting to know a woman who is good at bowling. I don’t believe I’ve met any girl that can actually keep a ball out of the gutters. Even though we may be so different, you and I became good friends. I do hope that you keep fighting for the things that you love. Even if your dad doesn’t like how you bowl or the people that judge you for who you are, I believe you should fight to prove them wrong. My core belief: the challenges of my education, from grade school through college. The best memory that helped me push and challenge myself to be better happened when I was in the fifth grade. The Teacher gave the class a spelling test, I receive a grade of 89%. When the Teacher gave the test back she noticed the classmate next to me had the same grade. Without asking or comparing our test papers for similarities, she placed me at a desk in front of the class by myself, because she thought I cheated off his paper.…

Everyone has missions, goals, and values; and it is shown to others through your actions. I asked a handful of friends what they believe these things are. One friend that I have only known for 2 months now had the most excellent answer in my opinion. He said my mission, “is to be there to help people who have had similar struggles and give them that push up the mountain”. I really do believe that is my mission because I want to be a therapist and help struggling teens because I wished I had more supportive people when I was struggling.…

I figured I should write one more nice thing before my classes start since you guys have been having a very bad week with school stuff and other things. Well, I want to start off by saying that you guys seem to wonder a lot about the meaning of life, and whether or not it has any meaning. I want to tell you that it does, and there is a good quote from a member of a 90’s and 2000’s rock band called Blink 182 that explains why. The guitarist, Tom Delonge, said that “When we realize how little we mean to the universe, we realize how important we are to each other.”, and I think that this is a very true quote that was written by quite the goofball. I’m not going to lie to you here.…
