It took a few years for me to realize how lucky I was that I had such a dependable support system in place, as many people are not as fortunate as I was. My next goal is to attend Pace Law School. I have been planning on attending law school in New York for years. After my U.N. Summer Seminar in New York, I knew that there had to be a law school that provided the location, academic and career opportunities, and specific programs that suit my goals both personally and professionally. Discovering that Pace exceeds in all of these areas has made me even more excited and motivated for law school, as I know that my success as a student and as a future attorney will be possible with the support and education from Pace

My graduate experience will be light years different then my undergraduate training. I chuckle just contemplating the technological difference alone. Back when I attended undergraduate school there wasn’t the internet, the LoudCloud, e-books, or personal laptop computers. We thought we were “hot stuff” because we progressed from the slide ruler to a state of the art Texas Interment graphing calculator. By the way google informed me that my particular calculator at that time was the first of its kind.…

My entire world was turned upside-down my junior year of high school. My father’s health deteriorated to the point where he was forced to make the difficult decision to be admitted into the Veterans’ Home after living with Multiple Sclerosis for thirty-five long years. The two of us didn’t always get along, but at this point I wanted nothing more than to do the impossible and rescue him from the place where I believed he didn’t fit. After all, a man his age should not have to live in a nursing home. I felt sick to my stomach the first night I walked out of Fifer, the building my father now calls home.………
