Personal Narrative: My Pappy

During the summer in early July, late June my Pappy (grandfather) was M.I.A. for a couple of days. Everyone knew why except my siblings and I. About two days later on a Monday he finally came home. I asked him where he’s been and that’s when he told me my mom was in the hospital. With my sibling and me not living with our mother and not seeing her in a long while, we didn’t possess this information. After my Pappy explained her condition he said he’d tale me down to see her the next day.
The ride was long, considering the hospital was all the way in Alexandria, plus the traffic on 95 was horrible. My mom was in a special area of the hospital, which we needed a code to get into. Once we found her room, we had to put on this yellow dress
